Watch the Trailer for New Netflix Sci-Fi Series 'Sense8'

Exclusive: Watch the trailer of Sense8, the upcoming sci-fi thriller drama TV Series, from the creators: J. Michael Straczynski, Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski.

The plot revolves around eight strangers from different parts of the world who suddenly become mentally and emotionally linked and it is set to explore the themes of identity, sexuality, gender, persecution, bigotry, and fear.

It features Jamie Clayton, Max Riemelt, Jeronimo Best, Ari Brickman, Sara Sohn and Freema Agyeman.

The Wachowskis are responsible for the direction of the biggest part of the show,[9] with the rest of it being handled by a number of people they have collaborated with in the past, including Cloud Atlas co-director Tom Tykwer. Meanwhile this is the first series produced under the banner of Straczynski's Studio JMS.

Plot:
"A group of people around the world are suddenly linked mentally, and must find a way to survive being hunted by those who see them as a threat to the world's order."

Sense8 is set to premiere on Friday, June 5.
